It's Good to Feel Good
I was recently asked how I stay motivated on my plant-based and wellness journey.
And my answer is simple: I don’t.
Motivation is fickle. It comes on strong when we receive a diagnosis or put on a pair of pants we thought would be more comfortable than they are. And just as quickly it can wane. A pandemic hits. Work gets busy. Kids and spouses are vying for our attention. Poof! The motivation is gone.
I’ve come to rely instead on my commitment to this lifestyle and, most importantly, to FEELING GOOD.
Feeling good means choosing the foods and way of eating that my body loves, providing my cells with the nutrients, water, and movement they crave so they continue to work their best for me everyday.
When I wake up every day and commit to feeling good, my day unfolds with ease and challenges are more easily managed. Cravings don’t exist. Desires for processed foods don’t creep up. My energy is abundant and my mind is clear and unstoppable.
What does feeling good look like to you?
How would your life be different if you woke up and chose to feel good?
With warmth and good feelings,
Emma
